Provide operational planning and consulting support for Army G-1 Deployment Cycle Support (DCS) Process. Research, develop, analyze, manage, and present DCS issues, initiatives, and recommendations. Conduct quick turnaround studies for emerging issues. Research, develop, analyze, manage, and present DCS management metrics. Develop plans for tracking key DCS information requirements to facilitate the management of key metrics and assist in the development and preparation of reports. Refine and revise the DCS mission analysis and coordination requirements with OSD, other Services, and other government agencies. Conduct research and analysis related to DCS lessons learned. Develop DCS tracking mechanisms, to include requirements development and documentation, working with the various agencies responsible for tracking Soldiers’ completion of the DCS requirements. Provide DCS strategic communications support, to include preparation of draft materials and production of final materials as needed.
